Tom Harrington is a native of Florida, born and raised in Lake County. He has lived in the Tallahassee area since 1980. Tom holds a BS in Finance from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s degree in Sociology from Florida State University. Following completion of his graduate studies, he worked as a Policy Analyst with the Florida Legislature. Tom began his rental property business in 1991 buying houses and renovating them for student living. Tom is married to Tammie Barfield, and they have one son, Shea.

 

 

Tammie Barfield moved to Florida with her family in 1973 from South Georgia. She has lived and worked in the Tallahassee area since 1991. Tammie holds a BA in English, Creative Writing, from Florida State University. Tammie has worked primarily in marketing in a variety of fields as well as being the sole proprietor of an Administrative Services business in Tallahassee. She takes an active role in the rental property business with Tom as well as taking contract work from the Florida Department of Community Affairs.
